What is loneliness?

"The worst loneliness is when, you are not able to be comfortable with yourself" - Mark Twain.

Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than just the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected from, and alienated towards, other people.

...into the horizon

Loneliness is not the same as being alone. Everyone has times when they are alone through circumstances or choice. Being alone can be experienced as positive, pleasurable, and emotionally refreshing if it is under the individual's control. Solitude is the state of being alone and secluded from other people, and often implies having made a conscious choice to be alone. Loneliness is therefore unwilling solitude.

In your loneliness, remember that the lone you is capable of solving it..
Loneliness is an absence, the moment you are able to give a positive colour to this absence, you shift from being lonely to being alone and thats half the job done...
Loneliness does not imply that you dont have anyone, it means you dont have yourself. Find it . After all, its you that you are loking for. How far can it be?
